We are a vibrant community of families dedicated to privately funded, parent-led homeschooling in Blaine and Camas counties in Idaho. Our goal is to encourage, support, and connect local homeschoolers as we walk this journey together.
No matter your teaching style or curriculum choices, there is a place for your family here. We celebrate the unique way each family learns, coming together to lift each other up.
The Wood River Homeschool Co-op is a Christ-centered community. While we do not require members to share our faith to join in the fun, we do ask that all participants be respectful and keep in mind the Christian foundation of our group.
As a group we aim to:
Build Community - Weekly park days, holiday parties, and Student showcases
Share Adventure - Field trips, hikes and Ski days.
Learn together- A weekly Co-Op enrichment day, one-off classes and service projects
Mom Support - Connection through mom-only events and a built-in network of supportive peers.
We believe community makes homeschooling better! Joining our co-op gives your children a sense of belonging with other homeschoolers, opens the door to unique group activities, and gives you the encouragement and connection you need as a parent.
